About us
Center of cultural heritage - AKSIOS is an NGO which explores, saves, protects, and promotes the cultural and natural heritage in its own country and in the world. The sustainable economic development of the cultural and natural heritage is the priority of the organization in its future work using material, immaterial - linguistic and spiritual, movable and immovable cultural and natural heritage in educational, economically sustainable and promotional activities.
Our goal and results so far are in the application of artistic expressive forms (literature, design, illustration, painting, photography, theater, music, film) in the presentation of cultural and natural heritage in educational, pedagogical, economically sustainable and promotional activities.

From 2017 AKSIOS starts to support and performs theater performances, shadow plays, storytelling and literary readings.
From 2005 tо 2023 Aksios has published children's books, educational manuals, scientific and popular literature, prose, poetry, brochures and promotional material for the national cultural and natural heritage.
Until now, the organization has published 14 independent editions, 6 of which are children`s books.

Latest Projects
The shadow theatre The Riston Ant was performed as a part of the performance program at the International Art Festival Paratissima in June 2017
The shadow play Riston the Ant began to be performed on April 1, 2017 and continues to be performed with great success up to this days (2024).
